Saddle leather

http://antihousewife.com/2009/09/starting-tomorrow/ For luxury leather goods and saddlery, our tannery combines the qualities of slow vegetable tanning (dense fibres, smooth hides) with the trade’s specific requirements (supple materials thanks to generously fatted hides).

With more than two centuries experience as saddlers, we have brought our ancestral techniques up to date. Our leathers are the fruit of these techniques.

Our products are deep fatted with natural fats (moellon, tallow, cod oil…) and have a wide range of uses (belts, hand bags, lining, wallets and horse saddles…).

Our craftsmen-saddlers have developed a broad range of products to meet the needs of riders:

  • Natural bends for saddle flaps

  • Natural back leather for harnesses

  • Natural bends for saddlery

  • Dyed shoulders for boots, halters and belly bands

EpaisseurProduct list:

  • Bends 4 mm to 6 mm thick, 10 to 16 % fatted

  • Back leather, 3.5 mm to 5 mm thick, 16 % fatted

  • Shoulders, 3/3.5 mm thick, natural (5.5%, 8.5% and quarter fatted) colours (matt brown, chestnut and black)
