Sole Leather

Barendrecht For more than two centuries, our core activity has been sole leather. Our vegetable tanned leathers are principally intended for high-quality shoes as well as for shoe repairing.

We offer our customers (boot makers, shoe makers, cordwainers and shoe repairers) a broad range of products to suit their needs (bends, shoulders for insoles…).

Bends:

• Cylindrical bends (horizontal crushing), flexible cylindrical bends for welded assembly and firm for stitched assembly (2.5mm to 5.5 mm thick)

• Beaten dry bends (vertical crushing), suitable for repairs (cordwainer) and stitched assembly (2.5 mm to 5.5 mm thick)

• Cut sole leather, complete soles from size 5 to size 13, three-quarter soles and half soles for men’s and women’s shoes

• Bends for heels, top pieces and shanks (2.5 mm to 6 mm thick)Shoulders for Insoles:

• Insoles for welded soles (1 mm to 3.5 mm thick), varying suppleness (5.5 %, 8.5 % or quarter fatted)

• Insoles for GOODYEAR welt (4 mm to 6 mm thick), 5.5 % or 8,5 % fatted.

• Insoles for reverse welt (6 mm to 8 mm thick), preference should be given to a well-nourished (less wrinkled) bend.
